Released through Columbia TriStar Film DistributorsInternational (CTFDI) the picture opened second in Italy on $1.6m on 252screens, fourth in France on $1.6m on 399 and second in Spain on $1.6m on 252.

50 FirstDates took $5.5m on1,391 screens, where the highlight was a mighty $570,000 first place bow NewZealand bow on 56. The romantic comedy has grossed $26.5m to date.

The horrorthriller Gothikascared $2.4m from international audiences from 1,349 screens to raise its totalto $71.1m, while Peter Pan added the same amount from 2,162 screens in its markets for$65.1m.

Hellboy opened top in Malaysia on $302,000 from43 screens for the second biggest opening of the year in the South-East Asianmarket. Overall the comic book adaptation grossed $525,000 from 98 screens andhas taken $1.7m from the initial stages of release.

The drama MonaLisa Smile opened top inRussia on $368,000 on 94 screens. It grossed $412,000 and raised theinternational running total to $75.3m.
