He will be part of the audio post production company’s new sound and vision department.

Adam Severs has joined London based audio post production company De Lane Lea.

The former Yorkshire Television Sound Mixer will work in the company’s new Sound and Vision department.

The new division is described as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for film and TV post-production, with full sound and picture services available from their Soho offices. The addition of Adam Severs, whose credits include a BAFTA nomination for his work on ITV’s Touch of Frost, comes just as the company re-open their doors following devastating fire damage last year.

Mr Severs said he was looking forward to working at the newly refurbished studios, after a career at ITV mixing everything from period dramas Wuthering Heights and Lost in Austen  to documentary series Horizon.

Head of production at De Lane Lea, Michael Hamilton, said: “The new department is allowing us to build on De Lane Lea’s long and renowned history in television post-production at the same time as moving into new and exciting areas.  With Adam on the team, I’m confident we have the best team, working in the best facilities.”
