A record 529films including a best ever 382 market premieres are confirmed to screen at the26th American Film Market running in Santa Monica from Nov 2-9.

Forty-fivetitles are official selections at the AFI FEST 2005, which for the second yearruns concurrently with the AFM and is scheduled to take place form Nov 3-13.

'Thisrecord breaking market is a testament to the strength of the independent filmbusiness around the world,' AFM managing director and executive vicepresident of the Independent Film & Television Alliance Jonathan Wolf said.

'The 45 films at both the AFM and AFI FEST show thatthe industry sees tremendous value in our festival-market alliance.'

As previously announced, a record 410 exhibitors will takepart in the AFM, arriving from 33 countries. The 410 exhibitors represent a 15%increase from the 356 companies that exhibited at last year's event.

Titles that willbe at AFM include Arclight Films' comedy The OH In Ohio starring Parker Posey, Fortissimo Film'sUS drama Twelve And Holding starring Conor Donovan and Jeremy Renner, Fabrication Films'drama Conversations With Other Women starring Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter, LionsGate's drama Fierce People starring Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland, and GreeneStreet FilmsInternational's thriller Unknown, which stars Jim Caviezel and Greg Kinnear.
