AFM executives announced on Wednesday [31] the launch of the AFM Producers Forum as well as topics and schedule for the forthcoming AFM Conference Series. Unifrance will return to the market for the first time in three years.

The AFM Producers Forum is a new networking forum and will feature 16 educational sessions that are likely to cover such subjects as co-productions with China and India, working with sales agents, production incentives and working with US guilds.

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) will attend with a 2,000 sq ft Japan Pavilion.

The conferences will run from Nov 8-12 and cover such subjects as crowdfunding, VoD, festivals, finance and marketing and distribution.

The AFM is set to run in Santa Monica from Nov 6-13.
