Following a dazzling international run that hasyielded more than three times the domestic gross, Alexander passed the $100mmilestone at the weekend with an estimated $9.5m haul from approximately 2,900screens in 54 territories.

The picture's international running total now stands at $103m, powered by animpressive $2.9m (Euros2.2m) number one hold on 500 prints in Italy through WarnerBros, and a solid $1.3m second place debut in Australia on 187 screens throughI.S Film Distribution.

In its third weekends in France and Spain Alexander added $1.6m on 536 for$9.1m and $1.2m on 417 for $12.8m respectively.

The epic opened top in New Zealand through Warner Bros on $194,300 on 46prints, and top in Iceland, where the distributor was awaiting completeresults.

Alexander'srunning total rose to $1.8m (Euros6.2m) in Italy, where it was good enough to stayahead of Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason and Saw, and new releases HouseOf Flying Daggersand Ray.

Further second weekend activity saw the picture rank second in Brazil on$580,900 for $2.1m, remain top in Romania on $74,381 for $150,000, and add$34,000 for $136,000 for an unconfirmed ranking in Bulgaria.

The totals in Belgium and the UK after three weekends amount to $1.2m and $4.9mrespectively. Germany has amassed $9.9m to date, Austria stands on $1.7m, SouthAfrica is on $987,715 after six, and Serbia is on $247,000 after eight.

Alexander's performance at the North American boxoffice has been alarmingly disappointing, taking approximately $34m to date.
