Alison Lohman has replaced Ellen Page in Ghost House Pictures and Mandate Pictures' upcoming supernatural thriller Drag Me To Hell.

Page exited the project at the weekend due to scheduling conflicts. Lohman will now star as an ambitious career woman who gets cursed by a witch.

Sam Raimi will begin directing on Mar 31 in Los Angeles from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother Ivan.

Universal Pictures holds North American and select international rights. Mandate International handles the remaining territories.

Rob Tapert, Grant Curtis and Josh Donen are producing and Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake are executive producing. Universal's Donna Langley and Lawrence Grey will oversee the project for the studio.

Lohman recently appeared in Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf and in Susanne Bier's Things We Lost In The Fire. She is represented by Management 360, Endeavor, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown.
