UK-based 111 Pictures has signed a three-picture production & distribution deal with US-based Red Ridinghood Productions.

Alki David's 111 Pictures will co-finance and distribute three films with Jerry Wolff's Red Ridinghood. Basem Zakariya of Structured Capital Group will executive produce the three films.

David himself will direct the first film, The Contract, which will shoot in New Mexico in January. Casting is underway.

Thriller Adrift will be shot in Fiji in spring 2008. That project is out to potential directors now. The third film will be announced soon.

Each film will be distributed theatrically through 111's distribution arm, with VOD release on 111 subsidiary Filmon.com. 111 said that the Filmon multi-platform network will offer about 20,000 titles.

111 will also handle world sales for the three films.

'Jerry Wolff is a fantastic producing partner with a sharp vision,' Alki David said. 'Together, we can promise these next three films are commercial films that will deliver the goods. We're especially keen to move forward with this innovative new day & date distribution model as we really believe this is what the market is moving toward.'
