American World Pictures (AWP) has spiced up its Cannes sales slate with the comedy-thriller One Long Night starring Alison Eastwood, Karen Black and Ed Begley Jr, along with horror title Triloquist.

David Siqueiros directed the tale of a young Mexican-American businessman from California whose life is transformed during a night of quirky encounters with the denizens of Mexico City.

Siqueiros wrote and produced and will attend Cannes Market with AWP president Mark Lester and president of production Dana Dubovsky.

'One Long Night is a fun film that blends humour with a bit of suspense and adventure,' Lester said. 'David Siqueiros wrote an entertaining story and is a talented director.'

Triloquist is directed by Mark Jones and follows the Las Vegas adventure of an 18-year-old girl, her brother who has not spoken since their mother's suicide many years ago, and their eerie dummy.

Rocky Marquette, Paydin LoPachin and Katie Chonacas star. Michael Levine, Marion Parry and Jack Edwards Sawyers produced.

The Los Angeles company's slate also features the thrillers Bone Dry starring Luke Goss, Lance Hendrickson and Dee Wallace, and Devil's Dominos with Daniel Baldwin and Vincent Pastore. AWP will screen a trailer of supernatural thriller Crazy Eights starring Traci Lords.
