Amy Adams will receive the 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival's (PSIFF) Spotlight Award for her performance in Doubt.
Adams, whose credits include Enchanted and Miss Pettigrew Lives for A Day, will collect the honour at the awards gala on January 6.
She recently wrapped production on Night At The Museum 2: Battle At The Smithsonian and will star in 2009 in Nora Ephron's Julie And Julia opposite Meryl Streep and in Sunshine Cleaning opposite Emily Blunt and Alan Arkin.
Upcoming projects include Leap Year and Daughter Of The Queen Of Sheba.
The festival is scheduled to run from January 6-19.
