A massive UK opening for FindingNemo propelled the animated hit past$100m at the international box office at the weekend.

The film - which proved itsdomestic chops over a record-breaking summer run - took $12.2m from 453 screensin the UK for the 10th biggest industry opening of all time.

Overall Finding Nemo grossed $13.4m in all territories to raise itsrunning total to $108.3m. Having become the biggest animated film of all timein North America, the Pixar film is now on its way to challenge the internationalrecord also held by The Lion Kingof $454m.

In its seventh week inAustralia it added $725,000 for $23.1m, ranking third and building on itsstatus as the most successful animated release ever to open in the territory.

Pirates Of The Caribbean added $6.1m all told to raise its international totalto a staggering $321.5m.

It is the 20th biggestinternational release of all time and the 17th biggest worldwide hit.

Calendar Girls grossed $3.2m for a $28.3m running total. The comedyopened top in New Zealand on $370,000 from 38 screens and fourth in Australiaon $910,000 from 177.

In its fifth week in the UKis added $1.6m, dropping 30% for a $24.2m cumulative score.

Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over opened top in Mexico on $1.6m from 244 screens andopened in Brazil on $185,000 from 57 for an unconfirmed finish.

Kill Bill Vol 1 took $270,000 from an exclusive presentation inLondon and goes into saturation release this weekend in 500 locations.
