Larry Angrisanihas joined Miramax Films as New York-based vice president of internationalpublicity.

Angrisani willliaise with distributors and festivals around the world and play a role inimplementing the company's strategic initiatives.

Reporting toAmanda Lundberg, executive vice president of worldwide publicity, and RickSands, chief operating officer, he will also work closely with Miramax'sUK-based international publicists, who include senior director James Dickinsonand directors, Bethan Dixon and Paula Woods.

"Larry is anexperienced publicity veteran with a strong understanding of the internationalmarketplace," Lundberg and Sands said in a joint statement. "His creativeapproach to publicity and his dedication make him a tremendous asset to ourremarkable team."

Angrisani most recently completed a seven-year tenure as asenior publicist in the international publicity department at UniversalPictures, where he was instrumental in planning and executing campaigns forsuch films as Intolerable Cruelty, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Red Dragon.

Angrisani began his careerin 1995 at United International Pictures in London.
