Gary Hamilton’s Arclight Films has partnered with Jeff Most Productions to develop and produce the $15m live-action production Razor.

Arclight is handling worldwide rights on the project is based on Everette Hartsoe’s biggest selling female comic action hero and is scheduled to begin shooting in early 2010 in Australia.

Jeff Most and Hamilton are producing and Arclight’s president of sales and acquisitions Pascal Borno serves as executive producer.

The story revolves around the character of Razor, the vigilante alter ego of a youth worker who confronts the Triad leader who destroyed her family and her childhood.

Most produced The Crow in 1994 and the sequels The Crow: City Of Angels, The Crow: Salvation, and The Crow: Wicked Prayer.
