Fanny Ardant and Gerard Depardieu will travel to Israel in November to shoot new French featureHello, Goodbye (working title).

The stars reunite after appearing together in Truffaut's The Woman Next Door and Anne Fontaine's Nathalie.

In Hello, Goodbye, Ardant and Depardieu will play a married Jewish couple living in Paris who undergo an identity crisis when their only son marries a Catholic girl. They decide to leave their French home and move to Israel, but once there, they face the bureaucratic miseries of relocating to a new country, putting their marriage to a test.

Michael Lellouche and Graham Guit wrote the script, andGuit will be directing the Babe Films production. Fabio Conversi is producing the$7.8m (Euros 5.5m) production.

United King Films and David Zilber's Metro Communications are producing in Israel.
