UK distributor Artificial Eye has announced three more acquisitions from Cannes, bringing its festival tally to 11 buys.

The new acquisitions are Terror's Advocate (L'Avocat De La Terreur), You, The Living (Du Levande), and The Island (Ostrov).

Terror's Advocate played in Un Certain Regard. Barbet Schroeder's documentary is about controversial legal and political figure Jacques Verges.

Another UCR title, You, The Living is a tragic-comedy from Swedish director Roy Andersson.

Finally, Artificial Eye picked up 2006 Venice closing film The Island, by Pavel Lounguine.That film is about a tormented man who tries to atone for the sins he committed during Nazi duress decades earlier.

The previously announced acquisitions are: The Banishment; The Edge Of Heaven; Alexandra; The Man From London; 4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days; An Old Mistress; and Love Songs (Les Chansons d'Amour).
