Channel 4 International has brokered a deal for Asmik Ace Entertainment to handle the Japanese theatrical release for In The Shadow Of The Moon.

Asmik Ace plans a 2008 launch for the Sundance hit documentary, which is being released by ThinkFilm in the US, Vertigo Films in the UK and Madman in Australia.

David Sington's film tells the story of the American Apollo space missions in the 1960s and 1970s, including new interviews with many of the astronauts. Ron Howard has recently come on board with his support to present the film.

In The Shadow of the Moon is a project of Film4, Dox Productions and Passion Pictures.
