Aurum has picked up Spanish rights to Asger Leth’s thriller Man On A Ledge, starring Ed Harris, Sam Worthington and Jamie Bell, and Heitor Dhalia’s thriller Gone, starring Amanda Seyfried.

Aurum picked up Man On A Ledge from Summit and Gone from Lakeshore International and Sierra/Affinity.

Man On A Ledge stars Sam Worthington as an ex-cop turned fugitive who stands on the edge of a high rise building in Manhattan, while an NYPD hostage negotiator (played by Elizabeth Banks) tries to talk him down. Ed Harris also stars.

Currently in post, the film is based on a script by Pablo Fenjves, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber, and is backed by Summit and Di Bonaventura Pictures.

Based on a script by Allison Burnett, Gone is about a kidnap survivor who sets off to find the same serial killer whom she believes has now abducted her sister.

Production on the film is scheduled to commence in April with Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi producing, alongside Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Chris Salvaterra and Dan Abrams.
