AV Pictures is handling internationals sales on girl gang thriller Sket, which started shooting yesterday in London.

This continues AV’s relationship with Revolver’s Gunslinger production arm, and Gateway Films.

Sket marks Gunslinger’s third production in just 15 months.

The revenge thriller is the directorial debut of writer Nirpal Bhogal (Cold Kiss).

Aimee Kelly plays a teenager girl facing London’s harsh gangland culture, who tries to seek retribution for her sister’s murder.

The cast also features Ashley Walters [pictured], Emma Hartley Miller, Lily Loveless, Adelayo Adedeyo, Riann Stelle, Katie Foster Barnes and Richie Campbell.

AV Pictures’ Vic Bateman said: “Gang culture has become a major talking point worldwide and Sket covers one aspect of this growing pandemic. We are pleased to be continuing our relationship with Gunslinger and Gateway on this timely project.”

AV also handles sales for Gunslinger’s first two films, Shank and the forthcoming Anuvahood, which will screen at the EFM.

The film is produced by Gunslinger Films’ Director of Production Nick Taussig and Daniel Toland (Shank, Bonded by Blood, Anuvahood) and Terry Stone (Shank, Rise of the Footsoldier) on behalf of Gateway Films.

Revolver will release the film in the UK in autumn 2011.
