The Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Feb 26 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, while the Baftas are set for Feb 12 at London’s Royal Opera House.
Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences president Tom Sherak said official screen credits forms are due on Dec 1, 2011, while nominations ballots must be posted by Dec 27 of this year and nominations polls close on Jan 13, 2012. The actual nominations will be announced on Jan 24, 2012.
Final ballots are to be posted by Feb 1, 2012, and the nominees luncheon is set for Feb 6, 2012. The scientific and technical Awards presentation will take place on Feb 11, 2012, and final polls close at 5pm PT on Feb 21, 2012. Anne Hathaway and James Franco (pictured) hosted this year’s Oscar ceremony.
The British Academy Of Film And Television Arts announced that the Orange British Academy Film Awards will take place on Feb 12, 2012, at the Royal Opera House in London. Nominations will be announced on Jan 17, 2012.
