Submissions for the foreign language category in the 88th Academy Awards are due by 5pm PT on October 1.
The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences published on Tuesday its list of upcoming submission deadlines for awards consideration.
The deadlines are as follows:
Scientific and Technical Awards – July 10;
Documentary Short Subject – September 1;
Documentary Feature – September 2;
Animated Short Film – October 1;
Live Action Short Film – October 1;
Foreign Language Film – October 1;
Animated Feature Film – October 30;
Original Score – December 2;
Original Song – December 2; and
General Entry/OSC Form – December 2.

The 88th Oscars will take place on February 28 2016 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
