The LUX Prize has unveiled the three finalists for its 2012 prize.

The three finalists, unveiled today in Rome as part of Venice’s Venice Days announcement, are:

Just The Wind (Csak a szél) by Bence Fliegauf (Hungary, Germany, France)

Shun Li and the Poet (Io sono Li) by Andrea Serge (Italy, France)

Tabu by Miguel Gomes (Portugal, Germany, France, Brazil)

The award is from the European Parliament, putting a spotlight on films that go to the heart of the European public debate.
