Final ballots for the American Cinema Editors’ (ACE) 62nd annual Eddies awards will be posted on Jan 23 and voting ends on Feb 9. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Feb 18 in Los Angeles.

No film has won the best picture Academy Award without also having received at least a best editing nomination since Ordinary People in 1981.

Judging for the documentary film category and all television categories will take place on Jan 29. Later in January ACE members will announce the Golden Eddie Filmmaker Of The Year honouree and two career achievement honourees.
