Tom Stoppard to receive WGA lifetime achievement honour

The British playwright and screenwriter will collect the 2013 Laurel Award for screen during the simultaneous East and West Coast WGA awards ceremonies on Feb 17.

Stoppard most recently adapted Anna Karenina for Joe Wright and his credits include Brazil and Shakespeare In Love.

His plays famously include Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead, Arcadia and The Real Thing.
