The awards celebrating European television production are now in their 25th year.

Gerard Mordillat’s The Five Parts Of The World (Les Cinq Parties Du Monde) received the Golden Fipa Grand Prize for a one off drama at the 25th Festival International des Programme Audiovisuels (FIPA) in Biarritz.

The special prize went to Paloma Aguilera Valdebenito’s Between Us.

Silke Bodenbender won the Golden FIPA Best Actress award for her performance in Father, Mother, Assasination, directed by Niki Stein.

The Golden FIPA best actor award went to Leo Paul Salmain for The Sea At Sunrise.

The Golden FIPA for best screening went to Jean-Xavier de Lestrade and Antoine Lacomblez for The Disappearance.

The competition for one off drama was judged by a jury headed consisting of Italian director Giacomo Battiato, German actor Mathieu Carriere, British director Tim Fywell, French writer Severine Jacquet and Canadian actress Marina Orsini.

Meanwhile, the Golden FIPA for best TV series went to Kaboul Kitchen, directed by Frederic Berthe, Jean Patrick Benes and Allan Mauduit.

The awards also celebrate documentaries, performing arts and reporting on television.
