Alec Baldwin has been cast opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in OddLot Entertainment's upcoming adaptation of international bestseller TheGirls' Guide To Hunting And Fishing.

Media 8 is handling international rights on the project, whichcharts the romantic travails of an ambitious Manhattan book editor who is tornbetween her boyfriend and a notorious publishing playboy played by Baldwin.

The screenplay is by Marc Klein, whose credits include theromantic comedy Serendipity and A Good Year, the upcoming Peter Mayle adaptation to be directed by RidleyScott and starring Russell Crowe.

Production is scheduled to begin in May on Hunting And Fishing; Odd Lot principals Gigi Pritzker andDeborah Del Prete are producing with Darryl Taja.

"Alec Baldwin is the perfect Archie Knox - he is charming,gregarious and sexy," Pritzker and Del Prete said. "We are thrilled to haveattracted talent of his calibre."

Odd Lot's credits include Green Street Hooligans starring Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam.The company recently launched its genre banner Dark Lot and has four titles slated for production in spring 2006: Living Hell, The Crevice, Buried Alive and Wanted Undead Or Alive.

Media 8 will handle international sales all the Odd Lot titles andis anticipating strong interest on its own AFM slate. Mike Binder's drama ManAbout Town starring BenAffleck and Rebecca Romijn and romantic comedy Lovewrecked starring Amanda Bynes are currentlyscreening to domestic distributors.

Meanwhile a casting announcement is expected shortly on Tony Kaye'shorror title Reaper.
