Warriors, by BBC Films and Single Drama and UK production outfit Deep Indigo Productions, has secured a clutch of nominations for the UK's annual Royal Television Society awards, including best single drama.

The production for BBC1 about the war in the former Yugoslavia also secured nods for male actor, production team and the writer's award. Also vying for honours in the single drama category at the awards ceremony on March 21 are Dockers, a Parallax Pictures and Initiative Factory production for Channel Four Television; and Lost For Words, made by Yorkshire Television with Bard Entertainments for ITV. Lost For Words' Thora Hird was also nominated for best actress.

Nominated in the single documentary category are Granada Television's Malcolm And Barbara - A Love Story; 20th Century Vixen and Channel Four Television's Divorce Iranian Style; and the BBC's Gulag.
