Kori Bernards has been promoted to senior vice president of communications at the Motion Picture Association Of America (MPAA).

Dan Robbins has been named senior vice president and associate general counsel, Mike Robinson becomes senior vice president and director of North American anti-piracy operations.

Ted Shapiro has become senior vice president, general counsel and deputy managing director of the Motion Picture Association's Europe, the Middle East And African office (EMEA).

'The Motion Picture Association has the strongest and most talented staff of any trade association in the world and that is evidenced by the fact that we are once again able to promote from within for key positions,' MPAA chief Dan Glickman said.

'Kori, Dan, Mike and Ted each have made significant contributions to our advocacy and content protection operations over many years. These promotions are well-deserved, and our organisation and members will benefit from their more senior leadership roles.'
