Los Angeles-based production and internationalsales company Bleiberg Entertainment has addedthe horror thriller Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders to its Cannes slate.

The picture stars CliftonCollins Jr, who garnered rave reviews for his portrayal of Perry Smith in Capote, andwill be distributed in North America through Sony. Bleiberg holds all international rights.

Chris Fisher directed thetrue account of the Hillside Strangler, whose killing streak instigated areign of terror in the HollywoodHills in the late 1970s.

Brittany Daniel, Lake Bell,and Eddie Jemison also star and Fisher produced along with Ash R Shah of Silver Nitrate Pictures. Bleiberg negotiated the deal withShah.

"With mass appeal on aworldwide stage, this film exemplifiesthe type of first-rate horror features weare looking to bring to market," Bleiberg chairman and chief executive officerEhud Bleiberg said.

Bleiberg's Cannes slate includes action drama One Last Dance, psychological thriller FrozenDays, family drama LoveAndDance,and the supernaturalcomic-book thriller El Muerto.

The company is in pre-production on the Holocaust drama Adam Resurrected,which is being directed by Paul Schrader.Casting on the male lead is expected to be announced soon.
