Principal photography on We Want Sex will start on June 29 for seven weeks on location in Britain and at 3 Mills Studios.
Bob Hoskins, Andrea Riseborough, Jaime Winstone and Daniel Mays have joined Sally Hawkins in the cast of Nigel Cole’s We Want Sex.
The cast includes Sally Hawkins who will play Rita, a feisty factory worker who inadvertently takes on the biggest corporations in the world in a bid for equal pay for her female work colleagues.
William Ivory wrote the script. Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley of Number 9 Films will produce and BBC Films will co-produce.
HanWay Films is introducing buyers to the project in Cannes.
