Producers Moritz Borman and Peter Graves will produce a film based on The Seven Sins: The Tyrant Ascending, a book by Jon Land which is inspired by the life of Fabrizio Boccardi.

Borman will produce and Graves will executive produce the film and have acquired rights to two sequels (subject to certain box office results) based around the character of Michael Tiranno, a daredevil business magnate aka The Tyrant. Boccardi will also be a producer on the films through his King Midas World Entertainment.

Land plans to write several more books about the Tiranno character.

Borman is currently producing Terminator: Salvation and Oliver Stone's W. His credits include World Trade Center, Alexander, Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines and The Life Of David Gale.

Graves is an executive producer on Terminator: Salvation, W and next year's animated Planet 51. He has spearheaded the marketing campaigns for over 200 films including Braveheart, The Perfect Storm and The Game.

'The Tyrant is an intriguing new type of lead character that we believe could easily form the basis of a new franchised series,' said Borman in a statement.
