UPDATE: Lionsgate’s sequel to The Hunger Games and Thor 2 have both reached $600m at the worldwide box office.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire had reached $599.1m worldwide by December 5, comprising $292.4m from international markets and $306.7m from North America.

The Young Adult adventure has already overtaken the $283m final international total of The Hunger Games.

Prisoners has amassed $57.4m, of which $9.1m comes from Warner Bros markets. Riddick stands at $56.3m.

Family animation Frozen has raced to a promising early $24.5m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International and touches down in the UK, France and Russia this weekend.

UPDATE: Thor: The Dark World has reached the $600m global milestone too. Marvel Studios’ superhero saga has plundered $411.8m internationally and only has Japan to go on February 1 2014. The film stands at $188.9m in North America.

Gravity stands at $37m through Warner Bros Pictures International.

Captain Phillips has reached through Sony Pictures Releasing International and arrives in Russia this weekend.

Carrie opens in Germany, France, Spain and Brazil and stands at $31.5m, of which $28.5m comes from SPRI market and the balance from MGM licensees.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 stands at $98.5m and opens this weekend in Australia and New Zealand. Battle Of The Year opens in Italy and Mexico.
