Django Unchained brought in a further $18.7m from 65 markets through Sony Pictures Releasing International as the running total climbed to $187.1m.

In its fourth weekend Quentin Tarantino’s Western added $3.9m in Germany to reach $35.6m, France added $3.3m for $27.3m after four and the UK $1.7m for $20m.

Django added $1.4m in Australia for $11.6m after three, $1.1m in Italy for $14.4m after four and $1m in Spain for $10.7m after four.

Skyfall is believed to have crossed the $800m threshold although SPRI had not confirmed at time of writing.

  • Fox International reported that A Good Day To Die Hard grossed $10.1m from an opening salvo on 1,102 screens in seven markets. The thriller debuted in South Korea on $4.2m and broke a Fox record in Indonesia on $1.4m and set a franchise record in Hong Kong on $1.2m. Fox took advantage of the Chinese New Year in the region and there were number one launches in Taiwan on $1.1m, Malaysia on $963,000 and Singapore on $813,000.

Lincoln brought in a further $10m for an early $47.6m. It arrived in seven new markets led by Australia on $1.8m including previews. France added $1.8m in the second weekend for $5.4m. Parental Guidance stands at $39m and Break Up Man $20.6m. Life Of Pi added $6.2m for a $456m international running total.

  • Working Title’s Les Misérables brought in $10.1m from 3,100 venues in 45 territories through Universal Pictures International and stands at $215m.

There was a number three launch in Russia on $1.6m that resulted in the second biggest musical debut behind Mamma Mia! Taiwan produced the biggest musical debut of all time on $698,000.

Combined with the $144m estimated North American tally the global haul has reached $359m. There are 19 territories to go including China, France, Germany and Mexico.

Horror title Mama arrived in seven territories and grossed $6.1m overall from 15 territories for an early $13.4m international running total. The highlight was $3.4m from Spain for the biggest opening weekend of the year to date the fourth biggest horror launch in history.

Ted stayed top in Japan for the fourth weekend in a row and generated a further $3m for $24.8m. The international running total has reached $309.9m.

Zero Dark Thirty grossed $2.7m from 1,600 sites in 11 Universal territories for a Universal total of $16.8m. The terrorism drama opened in Italy on $685,000 from 130. Pitch Perfect stands at $44.4m, This Is 40 has amassed an early $6.5m, Anna Karenina $39m and Jackie Chan release Chinese Zodiac $7.4m from Russia.

  • Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters brought in $11.6m through Paramount Pictures International (PPI) to reach $84m, boosted by a $2.3m number one debut in Australia.

Flight generated $8m from 28 markets to reach $34.3m with France set to open this week followed by the majority of Asia towards the end of the month. The drama touched down in Mexico on $1m form 273 and arrived in Brazil during Carnival on $807,000 from 165. The UK has generated $5.1m after two weekends and Australia $3.6m.

PPI acquired Tad, The Lost Explorer for Spain and Latin America and the family film opened in three Latin American markets as $2.6m overall from 1,010 sites pushed the total to $28.4m including Spain. Tad arrived in Brazil on $1m from 375 and added $1.2m in Mexico for $3.7m after two.

Jack Reacher has reached $116.5m after eight weekends and is due to open in China this week. Japan has returned $7.3m after two weekends.

  • Wreck-It Ralph grossed $11.7m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International and stands at $207.5m. The worldwide tally stands at $391.9m and the multiple Annie winner and Oscar nominee opened in the UK on $7.2m.
  • Kokowaah 2 grossed $7.3m from 857 screens in German-speaking Europe. Warner Bros Pictures International distributes the Barefoot Films production, which was made in co-production with Bela Jarzyk Production and Warner Bros Film Productions Germany.

Gangster Squad grossed $5.1m from 42 markets to reach $42.2m and opened in France on $2.2m including previews. Spain generated $851,000. The UK has produced $8.3m after five weekends.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey brought in a further $2.5m from 45 territories to reach $657.5m.

  • Lionsgate international reported that last weekend’s number one North American title Warm Bodies brought in $4.6m over the weekend for an early $8.7m. The zombie rom-com opened in the UK on $1.4m, Italy on $815,000 and Mexico $300,000.The Impossible generated $4.3m for $138m and The Last Stand has reached $15.7m.
  • StudioCanal reported that I Give It A Year opened in the UK on $2.4m.
