Both Universal/UPI’s Fast & Furious and DreamWorks Animation/PPI’s Monsters Vs Aliens have cleared the first hurdle and crossed $100m as they head into their third and fifth weekends respectively and will be at the vanguard of Hollywood’s latest international incursion.

Action release Fast & Furiousstands at $106.1m and now has it sights set firmly on the $150m mark with launches this weekend in China on April 15, Australia and New Zealand on April 16, Italy on April 17 and Taiwan on April 18.

Meanwhile the animated family title Monsters Vs Aliens has grossed $103.7m through PPI and should surge towards the $120m mark through further decent holds.

Universal/Working Title’s drama The Boat That Rocked has reached $8.8m and sets sail in 11 including Germany, German-speaking Switzerland, Switzerland and The Netherlands on April 16, followed by Austria a day later.

Crime caper Duplicity on $22.5m opens in three including South Korea on April 16, while the political thriller and BBC miniseries adaptation State Of Play debuts in four day-and-date with North America including Spain on April 17.

PPI’s comedy I Love You, Man opens in the UK on April 17, while the graphic novel adaptation Watchmen has reached $73.7m and has no major releases planned this weekend.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International’s family release Race To Witch Mountain on $17.2m arrives in Spain and Brazil on April 17. Romantic comedy Confessions Of A Shopaholic stands at $53.1m and teen release Hannah Montana The Movie opens in its first international market of Poland on April 17.

Fox International’s action title 12 Rounds is in the early days of release on $2.5m and opens in six including Russia and Mexico on April 16 and 17, respectively. Action fantasy Dragonball Evolution opens in seven including a group of Middle Eastern territories and stands at $37.8m.

Comedy Marley & Me stands at $92.1m, Taken has grossed $76.2m, Valkyrie stands at just over $115m, and Brazilian smash Se Eu Fosse Voce 2 has amassed $21.5m.

Action release Max Payne opens in Japan on April 18, while the rapper biopic Notorious on $6.2m arrives in Singapore on April 16, and drama The Secret Life Of Bees lands in three including Italy on April 17.

Summit International’s sci-fi thriller Knowing arrives in South Korea and Hong Kong this weekend and has amassed $46m overseas and $116m worldwide.

New Line International’s comedy 17 Again starring Zac Efron has raced to $12.1m and opens in New Zealand and Singapore on April 16. The film has grossed $7.5m in the UK and $4.6m in Australia since opening last weekend.

Clint Eastwood’s redemption song Gran Torino has reached $90.7m through Warner Bros Pictures International and will take a big stride towards $100m when it debuts in the final market of Japan on April 25.

Sony Pictures Releasing International’s Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans has grossed $42.4m through all distributors and launches in Brazil on April 17. Action title Punisher: War Zone lands in Japan on April 17.

Comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop has reached $26.3m, thriller The International stands at $25.6m and comedy The Pink Panther 2 has grossed $36.5m. The romance Not Easily Broken launches in the UK on April 17.
