Hercules, which includes box office from MGM licensees, generated $160.9m and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit $84.9m.

Paramount’s North American box office in 2014 reached $1.051bn and climbed 8.7% on 2013.

Transformers: Age Of Extinction led the charge on $245.4m for a $1.09bn worldwide tally, followed by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on $191.2m for a $475.8m global result.

Interstellar, which Warner Bros distributed in internationally, grossed $179.5m in North America through Paramount and $651.9m worldwide.

Noah grossed $101.2m in North America and $362.6m worldwide.
