Marvel Studios’ Captain America: The Winter Soldier has amassed an even $250m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International and must be the favourite to dominate the arena for a third consecutive session.

Combined with the North American tally the superhero sequel has raced to $363m. This weekend sees new debuts in Brazil, Hungary, Turkey and Trinidad.

Frozen has reached $704.7m and has opened in all its territories. Need For Speed has taken $111.2m through Disney markets and at least a further $33m through Mister Smith licensees.

Muppets Most Wanted stands at $12.2m and opens this weekend in Australia and New Zealand, while Tinkerbell: Pirate Fairy is on $27.6m and Saving Mr Banks $33.3m.

Fox International’s Rio 2 flies into approximately 58 territories and should pack a punch as executives seek to build on that early $57.7m tally. The biggest splashes are expected to come from China, Mexico, France and Argentina.

The Grand Budapest Hotel on $55.2m and opens in Australia and Italy, while Russian title Avantyuristy arrives on its home turf. Pathe’s French comedy hit Supercondriaque debuts in Germany.

Noah has accumulated more than $130m through Paramount Pictures International and is expected to deliver another robust session in the wake of a number of territory records for Russell Crowe and a thunderous run in Russia. The film arrives in France and Germany this weekend.

Summit’s YA franchise pilot Divergent gets its first big push into major markets through Lionsgate International licensees this weekend led by Australia through eOne, France through SND, Germany through Tele Munchen and CIS through Central Partnership.

There are also debuts through Denmark, Norway and Finland (Nordisk), Colombia, Venezuela and Dominican Republic (IDC), Austria through Tele Munchen, India through Universal, New Zealand through eOne, French- and German-speaking Switzerland through Ascot and Taiwan through Long Shong.

The Lego Movie stands at $164.4m through Warner Bros Pictures International and arrives in Germany. 300: Rise Of An Empire has grossed $221.6m.

Arnold Schwarzenegger action thriller Sabotage arrives in Germany and Austria through Sony Pictures Releasing International.
