Buena Vista International (BVI) has formed a partnership withMegaStar Joint Venture Company to distribute pictures in Vietnam.

MegaStar is a joint venture between Envoy Media Partners headed byTed Shugrue and Phuong Nam Corporation, and has offices in Hanoi and Ho ChiMinh City.

The joint venture will be run in Vietnam by Lim Eng Hee andoverseen by former Bristol Media International chief Tony Manne from the US.

MegaStar's line-up will include upcoming Disney releases like PiratesOf The Caribbean 2 - Dead Man's Chest and Cars, as well as The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch AndThe Wardrobe, and EightBelow.

MegaStar is also the first company to build an eight-screenmultiplex in Vietnam, which was scheduled to open last month.
