Fragile Film Distribution - the sales arm of Ealing Studios - has licensed the UK theatrical and DVD rights for comedy I Want Candy to BVI.

BVI (UK) is planning to release the comedy, which stars Carmen Electra alongside Tom Riley, Tom Burke and Michelle Ryan, next year.

Sky Movies, who came on board with the project at script stage, have television rights in the UK.

It also features Eddie Marsan and a host of the British comedy talent including Mackenzie Crook and Jimmy Carr.

I Want Candy is directed by Stephen Surjik and produced by Barnaby Thompson and Piers Thompson.

International sales are being handled by Fragile Film Distribution.

The film is an Ealing Studios and Thema Production, in association with Grosvenor Park Films and Sky Movies, of a Fragile Film.

The film is co-produced by Michelle Fox and Executive Producers include James Spring, Donald Starr, Daniel Taylor, James Hollond, Jimmy de Brabant, Michael Dounaev and Kami Naghdi.International sales are being handled by Fragile Film Distribution.
