Buena Vista InternationalTelevision (BVITV) has announced a new accord with the South AfricanBroadcasting Corporation (SABC) for various series and features, as well asrenewing its features deal with China's CCTV. The deals were both announced atthe MIPCOM television market which is currently underway in Cannes.

Films in the SABC package include 10Things I Hate About You, Stephen Frears'High Fidelity, Wes Anderson's Rushmore, Wayne Wang's The JoyLuck Club and David Lynch's The Straight Story.

The network alsopicked up series including Kevin Hill which is executive produced by MelGibson's Icon Productions.

BVITV vice president of sales AlisonHomewood said, "This agreement will give SABC's viewers a greatchoice of entertainment, from the newest network series like Kevin Hill, toclassic Hollywood films."

The deal with CCTV includesbox office successes Signs, Shanghai Knights and Princess Diaries.
