In Spain it rose14% to $1m for a $2.3m running total, while a fourth weekend $750,000 haul inGermany raised the total there to $8.7m.

The film held on to top spot in its second weekend inMexico, where it dropped 14% to $715,000 for a $2.5m running total. Australialeapt 69% in its second week to $415,000 for a $1m cumulative score.

ShanghaiKnights took $610,000 inits second weekend in Australia, dropping 3% for a $1.6m total. The comedygrossed $1.1m over the weekend for a $15.7m international gross.

Spy thriller TheRecruit opened on$170,000 in Thailand on 61 screens, which was roughly equal to October2002's bow for The Bourne Identity.

The Hot Chick has become the biggest ever release inMexico for star Rob Schneider. The comedy took $580,000 in its fourth week,dropping 24% and placing second, for a $5.2m running total.
