Berlinale Special film Rabbit On The Moon (Conejo En La Luna)has been picked up in international markets by the UK's Capitol Films.

The "Mexican new wave" film directed by Jorge Ramirez-Suarez is athriller that examines the effects on a family when the husband is wronglyaccused of a political murder. It stars Lorraine Polkington and Bruno Bichir.

It was structured as a Mexican-UK co-production involving Beanca Films(Mexico), Fidecine (Mexico) and Headgear Films (London).

The production designer isBernardo Trujillo (nominated for an Oscar with Frida), and the pictureis edited Alex Rodriguez (editor of Y Tu Mama Tambien and associateeditor on Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban).
