The annual Crystal Heart Awards Gala anointed Abigail Disney and Gini Reticker's Pray The Devil Back To Hell the $25,000 best documentary winner while Charles Sommer's Victoria was named winner of the $10,000 Vision Award for best short film.

Festival top brass presented former Picturehouse chief and marketing and distribution expert Bob Berney with the Pioneering Spirit Award for 'his creative spirit in film-making and for supporting the vision of Heartland.' The festival runs until Friday (October 24).
