Carlton International, the media rights distributor of the UK's Carlton group, has announced a number of film deals to various European channels and distributors during this week's MIPCOM TV programme market in Cannes.

As part of its existing output deal with Carlton International, TF1 has acquired a range of TV movies such as Too Young To Be A Father and Code 1114, which tells the story of an FBI agent who puts his own family in danger on board a plane over the Pacific.

The latter was also signed to Italian distributor Eagle Pictures along with Breakaway, starring Dean Cain.

Meanwhile, Crown Entertainment has bought several Carlton America TV movies for broadcast on the Hallmark Channel in the UK, including titles launched at MIPCOM such as Dead In A Heartbeat and 100 Days In The Jungle.

In other Carlton International deals, HBO Poland has picked up two TV movies from Carlton America; a package of ITC and Rank titles from Carlton International's film library has been picked up by Italian distributor Virginia Films; a package of Korda library titles was acquired by Channel La Sette in Italy; and a package of films including eight Carry On titles was acquired by Duna TV in Hungary.
