Warner Bros Pictures International top brass will expect robust holdover business to boost the $117m running total of last weekend's box office champion I Am Legend.

There are no releases scheduled for the sci-fi horror this weekend however several major launches lies ahead in the coming weeks, the first of which occur in Germany and Italy next weekend. WBPI's fantasy adventure Beowulf has amassed $108.1m.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International's family romance Enchanted opens in Argentina on January 3. It has amassed $121.6m to date.

The adventure sequel National Treasure 2 has grossed $77.3m so far and opens in 10 territories over the next several days, starting with Belgium and the Philippines on January 2.

DreamWorks-Paramount's Bee Movie has grossed $115.5m so far and flies into South Korea via PPI on Jan 3. DreamWorks' addiction drama Things We Lost In The Fire opens in Brazil on Jan 4.

New Line International's The Golden Compass stands at $202.4m from the bulk of its overseas run and opens this weekend in India and Indonesia.

Fox International launches Alvin And The Chipmunks in eight territories, among them Australia on Jan 3 and Brazil on Jan 4. The animated romp has taken $39m so far.

The action horror sequel Alien Vs Predator 2 has amassed more than $16m and touches down in 13 territories this weekend. The bulk of new business looks likely to come from launches in Singapore on Jan 1, France on Jan 2, Mexico on Jan 4 and Taiwan on Jan 5.

Wes Anderson's road movie The Darjeeling Limited, which has grossed $4.1m, rolls into Germany on Jan 3 and Spain on Jan 4.

Universal's crime drama American Gangster opens in five including Hong Kong on Jan 3. It has amassed $66.4m.

Lust, Caution opens in the UK and in in Italy through BIM on Jan 4. The period espionage drama has grossed $3.8m through Focus Features International territories.
