CineLink,Sarajevo Film Festival's annual script development program and co-productionmarket for feature-length fiction films, has announced this year's selection.

CineLink's remitis to foster films from the Balkan region with the potential for theatricaldistribution

The jurycomprised Ludmila Cvikova, programmer of the Rotterdam International FilmFestival; Christina Kallas, the artistic director of screenplay developmentfunding programme Balkan Fund; and Croatian director Vinko Bresan.

Ten projects werechosen out of 30 submitted:
A Grand, by Zilhad Kljucanin(Bosnia-Herzegovina);
Armin, by Ognjen Svilicic (Croatia);
Baby Photo, by Andrei Codrescu andTheodore Thomas (Romania);
Balkan Blues, by Sofia Zornitza(Bulgaria);
Buick Riviera, by Goran Rusinovic(Croatia);
Estrelita, by Metod Pevec and AbdulahSidran (Slovenia);
Jemin, by Srdjan Vuletic and AbdulahSidran (Bosnia-Herzegovina);
Lika Cinema, by Dalibor Matanic(Croatia);
Nowhere, by Predrag Velinovic (Serbiaand Montenegro); and
The Two Of Us, by Tena Stivicic(Croatia).
The writers are invited to two CineLink's screenplay development workshops thatwill take place in Sarajevo from April 22-27 and from June 3-7.

The workshopswill be lead by British TV writer Gareth Jones, German script developer andconsultant Franz Rodenkirchen and Serbian writer-director Srdjan Karanovic.

The ten projectswill then be presented to potential buyers and producers at the three-dayCineLink Market, which forms part of the 11th Sarajevo Film Festival(August 19-27).

At the end of theyear, the Main Jury will select the two best projects which will be awardedEUR25,000 each. The key criteria for the awards are artistic potential,marketability and project feasibility.
