The Days Of Mary is styled as a re-imagining of Federico Fellini’s Italian neorealist classic and 1957 foreign language Oscar winner Nights Of Cabiria. Little Film Company handles international sales will introduce to buyers on the Croisette this month.

The Days Of Mary is based on the original screenplay by Fellini, Ennio Flaino and Tullio Pinelli and is a romantic adventure about an optimistic prostitute in search of love to escape Reno, Nevada. Shooting is scheduled to begin in Reno this autumn.

Constellation Entertainment acquired rights to the Nights Of Cabiria screenplay from the Fellini estate. Brad Michael Gilbert will direct from an adapted screenplay he co-wrote with Meg McGarry.

Mike S Ryan will produce along with Gilbert and Robbie Little serves as executive producer

Nights Of Cabiria made a splash in Cannes in 1957 and earned Giuliette Masina the best actress prize. The film was previously re-imagined in the form of Bob Fosse’s 1969 musical Sweet Charity starring Shirley MacLaine.
