ContentFilm will commence sales on the Faustian horror tale-psychological thriller around the market premiere screening at AFM.

Lionsgate holds UK rights and Cinetic represents North America on the film from writer-director Philip Ridley, who wrote The Krays.Jim Sturgess, Timothy Spall, Eddie Marsan, Clemence Poesy and Noel Clarke star.

Richard Raymond and Pippa Cross produced with CinemaNX’s Steve Christian and Marc Samuelson and Framestore’s Steve Norris, with Nigel Thomas and Charlotte Walls of Matador Pictures serving as executive producers.

“Philip Ridley has crafted an extraordinarily beautiful, and yet deeply unsettling horror film that will leave audiences guessing as they hide their eyes in fear,” ContentFilm International’s Jamie Carmichael said. “It’s a jaw dropping re-invention of the classic Faustian deal – and of course Jim Sturgess delivers a stellar performance again, too.”
