After 10 years together the executives have chosen to pursue individual projects and will continue to collaborate on titles.

Contrafilm’s credits include Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D, The Rite [pictured] and The Exorcism Of Emily Rose.

Three titles are in post: Red Dawn at MGM starring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Josh Hutcherson; What’s Your Number? with Anna Faris and Chris Evans at New Regency/Fox; and Journey 2 The Mysterious Island 3D at New Line/Warner Bros starring Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens.

Flynn is also one of the producers on Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters at Paramount, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, on which Vinson serves as executive producer.

Among the projects Flynn and Vinson will continue to develop are the previously announced Baywatch with Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock’s Montecito Pictures; The Dream Team at Screen Gems, The Orphanage remake at New Line/Warner Bros and Murder Mystery with Tower Hill Entertainment.

“We have nothing but love and respect for each other, and our decision to pursue our own separate paths after 10 amazing years together is not an easy one,” Flynn and Vinson said in a joint statement. “But we have reached the stage where it is time to embrace new challenges and make films on our own. This isn’t goodbye since we will be working together on many projects that will be reaching the marketplace soon. And while we can look back at a lot of success we’ve had together, we are also excited to be looking ahead to the next chapter.”

The producing credits for Flynn and Vinson include JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH 3D, which grossed $241 million at the worldwide box office and was the first HD 3D live action film ever made; THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE, which collected $144 million worldwide; and THE RITE, which grossed $96 million worldwide after opening in the No. 1 spot at the U.S. box office last January.
