As the CopenhagenInternational Film Festival wrapped, Romanian feature 12.08 East Of Bucharest won the Golden Swans for best film and bestscript. Corneliu Porumbiou's darkly comic project about Romania just before thefall of the Ceausescu dictatorship previously won the Camera d'Or and theEuropa Cinemas Label in Cannes.

The Copenhagen jury,which judged the 10 European films in competition, was comprised of Danishactress Ghita Norby, dutch cinematographer Robby Muller, actress Tuva Novotnyand directors Pawel Pawlikowski from the UK and Kornel Mundruczo from Hungary.

In other awards, KimRossi Stuart's Along The Ridge wonfor best director and best cinematography for Stefano Falivene. Heidrun Bartholomauswon the best actress prize for Happy AsOne while Ulrich Muhe won best actor for The Lives Of Others.

Opening film The Boss Of It All by Lars von Trier hasnow sold to 30 territories, good news for Copenhagen Screenings section - a marketfor new Danish films. Among the comedy's distributors are Lucky Red in Italy,Les Film du Losange in France, Seville Pictures in Canada and Golem in Spain.Trust Film Sales expects to announce sales to the UK and the US within the nextfew weeks.
