London-based media consultancy MediaXchange is organising a forum, dedicated to Nordic entertainment law and finance, in Copenhagen on February 7-9.

The Nordic Entertainment Law & Finance forum is aimed at entertainment lawyers, business affairs executives and producers working in film and television. Among the issues that will be covered are packaging, film financing, talent deals, first-look and output deals, TV financing and international co-production.

Speakers at the three-day event include Los Angeles-based specialists Lawrence J. Ulman, from law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and Adam Krentzman from Creative Artists Agency. They join European experts such as the UK's Tim Johnson, from law firm SJ Berwin, as well as Danish speakers Per Neumann (Dragsted Schlüter Aros), Vibeke Windeloev (Zentropa Entertainments) and Norwegian Sigve Endresen (Motlys AS). Sponsors include the Danish Film Institute, Danish broadcaster DR, Swedish broadcaster SVT, the Finnish Film Foundation, the Nordic Film & TV Fund and the Swedish Film Institute.

The event has previously visited Munich and Hamburg and is scheduled to visit Brussels in September 2000.
