The Shinya Tsukamoto film will have the world premiere of its final cut at the Tribeca Film Festival next month. The action/sci-fi picture is the third in the Tetsuo series and marks the director’s feature in the English language. American photographer Eric Bossick stars in the title role as an American businessman working in Japan whose young son is killed before his eyes. In his grief, the businessman’s body begins to transform, turning his cells to iron. When the driver of the car that killed his son reappears, the man learns the truth about experiments carried out by his own father on human subjects.

An earlier cut of the film was screened in Venice last year.
