Final weekend figuresreleased by Universal have confirmed Intolerable Cruelty as the weekend's number one international filmon $13.1m from 2,405 sites in 22 countries.

Helping the black comedy onits way to an $18.9m international running total was a table-topping bow inAustralia on $1.7m from 228 sites including previews. It took 23% market share.

Intolerable Cruelty topped the table in Spain on $1.7m from 232 andopened second in Germany on $2.1m from 358, beating the screen average of chart leader The Miracle Of Bern.

Intolerable Cruelty opened third in the UK and Ireland on $2.6m from 386 including previews, behind holdovers Finding Nemo and Kill Bill Vol. 1.

It finished number one forthe second consecutive week in Italy on $2.2m from 342, dropping 28%. The 10-day total there is $6.4m.

Other highlights includednumber one bows in Austria, where it grossed $391,000 from 82 sites and 33%market share, and Hungary, where Thursday's $31,000 from 27 was thedistributor's 11th biggest opening day ever in the territory.

Brazil grosses are stillcoming in but the distributor estimates $305,000 from 151, dropping 36% for anestimated $1m after 10 days.

Mexico added $428,000 from219, dropping 33% for $1.4m after 10 days.

American Pie: The Wedding grossed $4.5m from 1,512 venues in 34 countries,raising its international running total to an estimated $106.6m with 12territories still to open.

Latest international runningtotals for other titles include: 2 Fast 2 Furious ($105.3m), Hero ($4.5m for France only), The Hulk ($109.3m) and Johnny English ($122.8m excluding France, where it is distributed through StudioCanal).
